We believe

  • The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God and is the final authority in all matters of faith and life.

  • The Eternal Godhead (Trinity): There is one God, eternally existing in three coequal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • God the Father: God the Father is an infinite, personal Spirit who mercifully involves Himself in human affairs and saves those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus Christ the Son: Jesus Christ is God's eternal Son, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death for sins, was resurrected, ascended to heaven, and will return visibly.

  • The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is fully God, sent to indwell, guide, comfort, and empower believers. He is the agent of regeneration and bestows spiritual gifts.

  • Humanity and Sin: People were created in God's image but fell into sin. All are sinners by nature and choice, separated from God, and in need of salvation.

  • Salvation: Salvation is God's free gift by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works-although- those who have truly repented and turned away from sin will exhibit a life filled with works. “Faith without works, is dead.” James 2:17-26 We receive the gift of the opportunity to receive salvation as a result of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Those who repent and trust Christ are forgiven, declared righteous, and become children of God.

  • The Church: The Church is the body of Christ, a unity of all believers with Christ as head. It gathers for worship, fellowship, teaching, ordinances, and outreach.

  • The Ordinances: Water baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are ordinances for believers, symbolizing faith and remembering Christ's sacrifice.

  • Eternity and Jesus' Return: We believe in Jesus' personal, physical return, the bodily resurrection of the saved and lost, and eternal life for believers, with eternal separation from God for the unbelievers.

We believe that god will meet each one of us where we are, and so should the church!
